We are looking for an enthusiastic person for a short-hours role in marketing and admin support. Hillhouse Farm Escapes is a busy farm hospitality business near Lauder, Scottish Borders. We host guests in our cottages, at weddings and at other events. The successful candidate will work directly with the owners of the business, with responsibility for social media posts, creating website content, assisting with guest communications and providing other admin support.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and diligent person to take on the following activities:
- Creating social media content
- Writing for websites
- Assisting with guest communications for accommodation, weddings and events
- Coordination support for weddings and events
- Other admin support
- Potential to develop the role in terms of hours and scope!
We can teach most of the technical skills required as long as you have excellent written English, a creative eye, and good knowledge of social media personally or professionally (Facebook, Instagram, and ideally TikTok). Smartphone photography skills would be an advantage!
Terms
Minimum 5 hours per week, with potential for additional hours from time to time (e.g. holiday cover, events). There is also the potential to permanently increase the hours as the role evolves.
£16-£20 per hour depending on experience.
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pro rata.
